The Hills Have Eyes (1977)

Taking an ill-advised detour en route to California, the Carter family soon run into trouble when their RV breaks down in the middle of the desert. Stranded, they find themselves at the mercy of monstrous cannibals lurking in the surrounding hills.

Passed with cuts for cinema. The Hills Have Eyes was on the Section 3 Nasties List and was liable for seizure and forfeiture by the police. Passed with 2s of cuts for video in 1987. Released uncut in 2003.

One of the best horrors of the 70s.
