Welcome to Its Only A Movie, a fan site created by me (Stu), a 70s & 80s horror fan, obsessed with the nasties, cult horror and video shop nostalgia!
Brought up in the 80s, a father of 4, and lucky enough to experience the thrill of having an 80s video shop as a family business. My dad and uncle were there from the start when it comes to the video rental industry. Over the past 30 years, I’ve collected pre-cert VHS tapes, video shop posters and cult publications like The Deep Red Horror Handbook, The Gore Score and The Dark Side.
Our horror movie store lists items from our horror collection, along with mugs and video nasty t-shirts, paying tribute to the movies that made us scream, laugh, and hide behind the sofa. Whether it’s iconic villains, DPP cover art, or deep-cut references that only true fans will recognise, our items are made for those who live and breathe horror.
