A young woman inherits an old hotel in Louisiana where, following a series of supernatural "accidents", she learns that the building was built over one of the entrances to Hell.

Originally passed with cuts for cinema. The Beyond was on the uk video nasties list but wasn't prosecuted! Released with approximately 2 minutes cut in 1987. Re-released uncut in 2001.
