The R-rated version was released without cuts in 1987. The full unrated version (previously released for cinema) was released uncut in 2003.
Camp counsillors are stalked and murdered by an unknown assailant while trying to reopen a summer camp that was the site of a child's drowning.
Friday the 13th was on the Section 3 Nasties List and was liable for seizure and forfeiture by the police.
