Movie Overview
In 1700s Austria, a witch-hunter's apprentice has doubts about the righteousness of witch-hunting when he witnesses the brutality, the injustice, the falsehood, the torture and the arbitrary killing that go with the job.
Passed with heavy cuts for cinema. Mark of the Devil was on the Section 3 Nasties List and were liable for seizure and forfeiture by the police. Passed with cuts in 1998 and 2003. Released uncut in 2013.

The Gate (1987)
