Dawn of the Mummy (1981)

A group of fashion models disturb the tomb of a mummy and revive an ancient curse. Along with the mummy rising, slaves who were buried in the desert thousands of years before, also rise, with a craving for human flesh.

Passed with 27s of cuts for cinema. Dawn of the Mummy was on the Section 3 Nasties List and was liable for seizure and forfeiture by the police. Passed with 1m 43s of cuts for video in 1987. Released uncut in 2003.
