A legend of terror isn't a campfire story anymore!
A caretaker at a summer camp is burned when a prank goes tragically wrong. After several years of intensive treatment at hospital, he is released back into society, albeit missing some social skills. What follows is a bloody killing spree with the caretaker making his way back to his old stomping ground to confront one of the youths that accidentally burned him.
Originally passed with cuts for cinema. The Burning was on the DPP39 List of Video Nasties. Released with 19 seconds cut in 1992. Re-released uncut in 2001

The Burning was another classic from the DPP 39 list. Filmed a year after Friday the 13th, and its clear to see the similarities. Set in a campsite location, teenage campers and stalked by a revengeful ‘Cropsy’. One by one they get cut down in this decent slasher film, with effects by Tom Savini. A personal favourite, and one of the best slashers of the 80s.
