The Section 2 Nasties were seized under S2 of the Obscene Publications Act, making the dealer or distributor liable to prosecution for disseminating obscene materials.
The 33 titles may have been prosecuted but were subsequently dropped from the main video nasties list after a series of acquittals and placed onto the Section 3 Nasties List.
